810 River Avenue, BX

No two projects are alike, and 810 River Avenue can certainly attest to that. This job site was in the shadow of Yankee Stadium, directly adjacent to an elevated subway line, and set along a steeply sloped roadway.

Our team designed a phased solution for the erection of a new precast plank and steel structure. In order to do so, however, our engineers redesigned the permanent structural elements of the building in order to support a 300-ton crawler crane. The assembly of this nearly 400-foot long lattice boom + jib combination presented tremendous logistical and structural challenges.
